Frangulyan’s post-academic oeuvre began and continues through public monuments. They are core to his work. Bronze is the medium, accompanied by rock, often granite. His scaled works are a parallel, but distinct, practice, which includes sculpted reliefs, funerary monuments, and pure, creative expressions, figurative and abstract. His chosen media are traditional ones, yet diverse: clay, rock, sheet metal, and wood. His work is handmade. It is not specifically brand recognizable. Frangulyan draws prodigiously; he paints vigorously.
